I think carpet patterns have always
had an image that brightens a person’s soul.
Maybe it’s because, as I get older, I feel more longing and love for old things
— I don’t know… but I prefer to see it as the maturation of my aesthetic sense.
🌿
For a while now, with this feeling, I’ve been looking again at Anatolian motifs
— I wanted to retell the elegance of those old patterns in a modern language.
And then I said to myself:
“Why shouldn’t these patterns decorate our walls?”
So I made a few designs. Colors, textures, rhythms… all familiar, but in a new
form.
And now I wanted to share them with you — maybe you too will feel this quiet
light in your home. 🤍
